Our policy

The False Sun respects copyright. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to the agent below. We respond to valid notices and remove or disable access to the material.

What to include

  • Your name, address, and email.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The URL or description of the material on our site you want removed.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Where to send it

Email your notice to contact@the-falsesun.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice". We will acknowledge receipt and act on valid requests.

How we handle notices

On receiving a complete notice, we review it, remove or disable the flagged material, and notify the party who posted it where practical. We aim to act within a reasonable period — typically within 10 to 14 business days.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details and a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was mistakenly taken down. We may restore it unless the original complainant files suit.

False claims

Submitting a takedown notice you know to be false can carry legal consequences, including liability for damages. Please be certain before you send one.

Repeat infringement

We may terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
